Het weer observeren, P2

In het 2de leerjaar kijken we elke ochtend op de thermometer om te weten hoeveel graden het is.

We tekenen dit samen op een groot blad.

Naast de temperatuur kijken we ook naar buiten om te zien wat soort weer het is; wolken, regen, sneeuw, regenboog, zon, ...

Dagelijks kiezen we het bijpassende kaartje en ook dit plakken we op het blad.

Dit is tot nu toe het resultaat.

We have so much snow and low temperature! Jutta and Kristina built a snow bar for the break to have warm tea. Children like it very much.

Today P4 and M3 joined forces in the kitchen. To celebrate the Sinterklaas-days in Belgium,
we created 'marsepein' and we baked some 'zandkoekjes'.

The recipe for marsepein:

Ingredients for 8 persons (just mix together)

500 gr almond powder
500 gr powdered sugar
2 egs (use only the white)
Lemonjuce
Cacaopowder

The recipe for zandkoekjes (just mix together)

1 eg
125 g caster sugar
2 bags of vanilla sugar
125 grams of butter
250 gram of flower

This week, the children of the class P4, have created a kite. This way the children had to apply their mathematics and group-working skills by learning more about wind energy.

Film festival Namur P4

Perwez, 12-10-2012

Today, we have visited the film festival of nature in the Belgium city of Namur.
We started the day by taking the local bus to the city. By doing so, we used less power to commute and we were able to pollute as less as possible.
In the city, we had a nice exposition of pictures of the Belgian nature followed by a presentation of the latest movie in the theme.
After the day, we returned by bus back to school.
